Prior to joining the SBDC, Lori Durden held various management positions within Georgia Southern’s business and finance division. She has 10 years of small business experience in residential construction. She and her husband own and operate a custom-residential construction company based in Bulloch County. Her areas of interest include accounting, project management, and record-keeping for small businesses using Quickbooks software applications.

Ms. Woodrum brings twelve years of financial and accounting expertise to the SBDC. She began her career in banking, worked three years as an accountant with a government contractor and has worked the last five years with Georgia Southern University as the Business Manager in Academic Affairs. As Business Manager, Ms. Woodrum defined problems and recommended solutions, researched and analyzed data, and provided budget and accounting support to management, faculty, and staff. Ms. Woodrum also brings experience from the real estate sector. For two years, she and her husband were property managers for more than 40 rental units with a local real estate firm.
